Michael Ammons (to his friends Mike) has been an Arizona resident since 1987. Mike moved here from Manitou Springs, Colorado to go to school at Arizona State University and study criminal justice. Not long after he arrived he met his soon to be wife Nancy at ASU. He then married Nancy, got a job and a mortgage and is here to stay! Mike has two daughters Cierra (9) and Savanna (5). He has been a licensed real estate agent since 1994 and a licensed real estate broker since 1998.

Through out his real estate career he has always sought to look at real estate not only as a home that meets a persons needs as far as a home to live in but also as an investment that will further his clients personal wealth. As Designated Broker for Arizona Investment Real Estate and Development, INc. his desire is to build wealth in his client’s lives through sound real estate investment. Proper analysis and patience are the cornerstones of his investing philosophies. Mike believes that current real estate trends should not dictate whether or not an investment is sound or not. Great real estate investments should be able to be found in both strong sellers markets as well as strong buyers markets. Mike is an Investing Realtor who buys and sells investment properties in his own portfolio as well.

Mike started his career with his wife Nancy at Century 21 Personal Choice and both Mike and Nancy are very grateful for the training they received under the watchful eye of the late Diane Allen who was the designated broker at the time. From Century 21 Mike and Nancy moved over to Realty Executives and teamed up with Steve Chader an agent with 20+ years experience in the industry who was (and is to this day) a close personal friend and valued mentor. Steve, Mike and Nancy formed the original Chader Team. Mike and Nancy worked as Buyer Brokers for several years within the Chader Team. When Nancy became pregnant in late1997 with Cierra she soon left real estate to concentrate her energy on the rigorous challenges of motherhood. In 1997 the entire Chader Team left Realty Executives and joined an upstart company based out of Austin Texas called Keller Williams Realty. Mike left the Chader Team in 2000 to strike out on his own and start his own team. Mike stayed within the Keller Williams system until February of 2003 when he started Ammons Investment Real Estate LLC, which became Arizona Investment Real Estate and Development, Inc. in 2007. Mike values the exceptional training that he received while within the Keller Williams’ system.

Mike’s desires to own his own company and be an entrepreneur are the primary reasons that Arizona Investment Real Estate and Development was born. Mike specializes in both the listing and sale of real estate but also the aggressive representation of buyers in an ever changing marketplace. Mike is currently in the process of developing several real estate projects that will necessitate both the involvement of investors as well as partners.

Arizona Investment Real Estate and Development only hires agents who have an investing mindset because he wants agents who not only are fiduciaries for their clients but agents who believe that their industry is worthy of investing in.

In his free time Mike enjoys spending time with his family, traveling with them, reading, running, weight training and going to movies. He is a deacon at a non-denominational church in Gilbert called Harvest Bible Church. He enjoys worshiping and spending time with his friends there as well. Mike, Nancy, Cierra and Savanna have two dogs (Australian Shepherds) Patch and Ansbacher who keep the energy level at a high pitch at their home in Agritopia, a new subdivision in Gilbert.

Nancy first began selling real estate in the early 1990's. She began as a part time Realtor working for Century 21 Personal Choice. She and her husband Mike later worked as Buyer's Agents on a team with Steve Chader, their friend and mentor. As hard as it is for Mike to admit, she did outsell him several times. His story is that it was only one year, hers is that it was at least two. In 1998 ,when their first daughter was born, Nancy decided to become a stay at home Mom. She has been involved in the business behind the scenes ever since, working as the CFO and Chief Question Asker.

Nancy loves being a Mom to her two girls and a wife to her husband, Mike. Her favorite ways to spend her time are reading her Bible and other Christian books, enjoying the company of her friends and family, and just about any activity outdoors, especially gardening. She can be found at the Cosmo Dog Park with her dogs and children many evenings each week.

A Valley of the Sun resident for two decades now, Michele joined her brother Mike (great job security!) in the summer of 2003 as his company's first recruited agent. She credits her brother's patient and dedicated mentoring for allowing her to quickly learn the ropes to become proficient in handling many different types of real estate transactions.

She and her husband Jim live in Gilbert and have three sons- Jameson (17), Matthew (15), and Jordan (13). Jim and Michele met at ASU and have been in the Valley ever since with the exception of three brief years living in rural New Mexico. She loves real estate but still questions the recruiting technique of her brother, who initially promised her a 20-hour work week. After she was licensed and had her first deal in escrow, he revised that to a 20-hour work day.

Prior to real estate, Michele spent ten amazing years as the chief operating officer of the Cunningham family, maintained a freelance writing business, and then became a primary teacher at Surrey Garden Christian School for several years. Her favorite part of being in real estate is getting to know and become friends with her clients. It is also gratifying to see her clients own a home they love, and her investors realize their financial goals.

When not serving her clients or keeping educated on current market and investment trends, Michele enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading classic English literature. Michele and her family attend New Covenant Bible Fellowship in Tempe and hopes to one day give an orphaned child a loving home, a dream that her experience in real estate (loads of paperwork and patience) should only help her realize.

Not a second of time is wasted at Judd Ranch. Lorelei may be found tending Jaxon, canning fruits and vegetables, growing her garden, and tossing hay for the alpacas that live on the ranch. Lorelei also enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her sweetheart Ardell...and there is real estate...

While wearing many hats is in Lorelei's nature, i.e., Christian, Wife of Ardell Judd, Mother of Ruthann and Joshua, Mother-in-law to Devin, Grandmother to Jaxon, Co-owner of Twinstar Alpacas, LLC, and Law Enforcement Professional, the "Investing Realtor Hat" is also ranked one of her favorites.

Lorelei became interested in becoming a real estate agent a few years ago. The first inclination came while Lorelei and Ardell along with their personal real estate agent were seated at the title company's closing table reviewing the final documents on the sale of one of the properties in their personal portfolio. Lorelei noticed the HUD statement read that she and Ardell would be paying out two-plus thousand dollars more than expected to the buyer for the prorated lease on a wireless tower that stood on the property. This was disconcerting since they had a real estate agent whose role it was to look out for this sort of thing. Though between the three of them, they solved the cost dilemma, the realization lingered that should Lorelei become a real estate agent, her attention-to-detail would pay off not only for her and Ardell, but for Lorelei's clients as they would avoid situations like the one referenced above. So Lorelei took the plunge and became a licensed real estate agent in Utah.

Though beautiful in the summer, Utah was too cold during the rest of the year for the Judd family; so they returned to the Valley of the Sun where they had begun their lives together. Lorelei obtained her real estate license in Arizona where she was promptly recruited by Mike Ammons. His enthusiastic investing knowledge as well as the positive association with the whole Ammons family have been a blessing to the Judd's. Since joining the Ammons office, Lorelei has been sharing the word to her freinds and family that there are many ways to reach one's financial endeavors through the purchase and sale of various types of real estate.
